Trying to get that CV, document into a searchable format, well here is a neat tool that you pass a Word document and it outputs plain text!
DOCX2TXT documentfilename.xdoc
Standard output will be the plain text file, use DOCX2TXT documentfilename.xdoc > file.txt to save it to a file.
